A Place to Bury Strangers
Crystal StiltsBrooklyn has loads of great bands from all genres, but two of my favorites are A Place to Bury Strangers (APTBS) & Crystal Stilts. APTBS are more distorted and sonic, and Crystal Stilts more melodic and crooning. But both bands harness that Joy Division/Jesus and Mary Chain sound really well.
